Howler

A Howler is another magical object from the Harry Potter series. It's a red envelope that delivers a message recorded in the sender's voice. When opened, the Howler loudly recites the message at a high volume, and if it's not opened promptly, it can explode and shout the message even louder. The purpose of a Howler is to express significant anger or displeasure in a way that standard writing cannot. After the message is delivered, the Howler bursts into flames, leaving only ashes. They are often used by parents in the wizarding world to scold their children, as seen when Ron Weasley receives one from his mother in "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets" for stealing the family's flying car.
